Dharma shop at Ganden Chökor
Welcome to our in-house dharma shop. The dharma shop is organized and managed by the Ganden Chökor association. The goods are only available directly from the Ganden Chökor shop in Pradaschier during the first years of the centre.
Books and CDs
We sell Tibetan Buddhist books and booklets published in German by the Bhikshu Mati publishing company, as well as audio and video recordings of the teachings given by Lama Lodrö Rinpoche. The proceeds of the writings and recordings go entirely to the Bhikshu Mati trust fund. The writings comprise rare practice texts and commentaries on retreats and rituals translated from Tibetan, as well as CDs and DVDs on chöd practice.
A range of general dharma literature and other books for those interested in Buddhism will be available from the shop in the future.
Ritual implements
Traditional Tibetan Buddhist ritual implements such as damarus, vajras, bells, malas, statues and thangkas are available from the shop.
We offer our own collection of hand-crafted meditation cushions, chöd drum cases, torma ornaments, etc. You can order hand-crafted drum cases made from felt, mandala cloths, chöd drum banners and much more.
Thangkas
The initiations and commentaries on various meditational deities open the door to the practices of these deities for us. A large variety of thangkas and statues is available from our shop to further support us in our practices.
The purpose of the dharma shop is to preserve and disseminate the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, religion and culture. The proceeds go towards the Ganden Chökor association.
A large choice of beautiful items for you
We have brought many beautiful items from Kathmandu for you: buddha statues, skull cups made from copper, thangkas, and chöd drums. We also offer hand-crafted torma ornaments that were especially made to our order, and a choice of cloths for bags and book covers.
